Evidence notes for John Moule
There is a family tradition that John Moule had two sons who died as infants. They were not included in the book John Moule and Katy Scanlan because no record had been found. Since then, a record of one additional son (John d. 1843) has been found. I have included one more son, name unknown, born ca 1834. With that additional son, Frederick Septimus Moule would be the seventh son.

A search of military records by a competent researcher in England shows no record of her father in the Life Guards. This is probably an exaggeration. However, her father clearly had some connection with the military.
